However often times a lot of stuff are missing, I guess it is mostly groups that seems to get lost all the time. I’m not succeeding and I welcome suggestions. I’m attempting to develop a method for creating jogged section lines which generate a reliable fill. VisualARQ’s Section Tool is the only Rhino sectioning method I can find for creating a jogged section line. Often times you can compliment some of the “lost” geometry by the intersect-command which sometimes will help. Section Tools is the only Sectioning method for RHino with a reliable clipped fill.

One way of doing it is to use a clipping plane, then make2d and then sometimes you get what you seek. I love rhino but perhaps the ways I know how to make sections and plans are not that optimal.
